Foxdown is the largest breeding kennels for Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers (Tollers) in this country.
At present we hold four active stud dogs which are used on our own and other carefully selected bitches. All breeding stock have good hip and eye certificates, good temperament and lots of brains!
At present Foxdown Tollers are doing well in working trials, agility, flyball and in the show ring.
We have sold several of our Tollers to be trained as gundogs. Their nose and retrieving instincts are second to none.
The Toller working the decoy at Slimbridge is also a Foxdown Toller.
We hold a class especially for Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers - Tollers every Friday evening, where everyone interested in knowing more about the breed is given a warm welcome. For details see Class Information page.
We do lots of different activities - dog racing, agility, flyball and lots of up market fun tricks taught by click and treat. If you are a good enough handler, there is nothing a Toller can't do!

Please contact the kennels for more information.
This has become necessary due to the large increase in the number of people not keeping us informed when they decide not to have a Toller.
India's (Foxdowns Savannah) owner sent us some photo's.

Russet was bred by me, went to a home where they could not manage her, at 6 months she was back. At 11 years old she was in the Veteran Class at Crufts 2007.
Russet is 11 years old and Anya is eight.
Lily had five homes by the time she was six months. I did not breed her but we decided that if she was moved anymore it might cause permanent harm, so she is staying - she is a delight.
If you are thinking of owning one of these wonderful dogs, please take a little time to look at our information on foxdowntollers.co.uk (will open another window)
